APOCALYPTICA Having 'Loads Of Fun' Coming Back To America

October 20, 2008

The Pulse of Radio reports that Finnish rock cello quartet APOCALYPTICA begins its latest North American tour on Monday (October 20) in Denver, as the group continues to take advantage of the success here of its latest album, "Worlds Collide", and current single, "I Don't Care". APOCALYPTICA member Eicca Toppinen says the band is making new fans every time it comes back over. "We find it very exciting, you know," he said. "In Europe, we've been touring for 12 years now, and also South America and East Europe, Asia, and people know APOCALYPTICA pretty well there. But it's really cool to come into a kind of fresh market where, you know, every night in the show there's basically almost nobody who've seen APOCALYPTICA before. That's really, really loads of fun."

APOCALYPTICA's latest North American run is scheduled to last through November 2, when it finishes up in Tempe, Arizona.

"Worlds Collide" features a number of guest vocalists performing with the instrumental quartet, including SLIPKNOT frontman Corey Taylor, LACUNA COIL singer Cristina Scabbia, RAMMSTEIN vocalist Til Lindemann and THREE DAYS GRACE frontman Adam Gontier, who sings on "I Don't Care".
