APOSTASY To Headline Sweden's NORDIC RAGE FESTIVAL

October 18, 2006

Swedish black metal act APOSTASY has been confirmed as the headliner of the Nordic Rage Festival, set to take place December 2 in Boden, Sweden. Also scheduled to appear are THE DUSKFALL, MAZE OF TORMENT, BABYLON BOMBS, BULLET, CRYONIC, B-LOW and COLDSPELL, among others.

In other news, APOSTASY is currently seeking a new label home, having parted ways with Black Mark due to "private reasons."

APOSTASY made national headlines in Sweden earlier in the year when the group's guitarist Henrik Johansson was stabbed to death by his girlfriend. At 3:55 a.m. on March 9, 2006, the 19-year-old girlfriend called 911 and said that her boyfriend was lying bleeding on the floor in the couple's apartment in Kramfors, Sweden. When the paramedics and police arrived, Henrik Johansson was already dead.
