ARCH ENEMY Drummer Checks In From The Road

Drummer Adrian Erlandsson of the Swedish/German extreme metallers ARCH ENEMY has issued the following update:

"Hell yeah, we've been on the road for the most part of the last four months, playing to many of our craziest fans all over the globe. The World Tyranny campaign has hit the world without mercy — USA, Canada, Japan, China, Australia, Greece, Spain, UK, France, Holland, Germany, Austria and there are still more countries left to be devastated before we get to go home and dig into the Swedish Christmas buffet, along with copious amounts of glögg!

"Personally, I feel great knowing that there are people appreciating our live shows, we always put atleast a 100% effort into making it a very intense headbanging experience...

"At the moment we're touring in Europe as a part of the Black Crusade (also featuring MACHINE HEAD, TRIVIUM, DRAGONFORCE and SHADOWS FALL for those of you who didn't know already) and we're having a great time, apart from some of us being sick as dogs. Yeah, I know that's what every band says in every tour report — somehow it seems necessary to point that out, or maybe not, well whatever!

"I've been playing my new Pearl kit, which is a Reference Series in Black Sparkle and I've been getting some pretty hot compliments on both the look and the sound! My hat is off to all the people at Pearl (and all my other endorsers too — Sabian, Vic Firth, Evans and more!) for taking such good care of me!

"We will hit the road again starting in March next year, there will be some very heavy announcements made soon. In contrast to what we have been doing this year, there will be a focus on making headlining appearances. That's really the only way that we can offer the FULL ARCH ENEMY experience that you deserve IF you come to the show!"

ARCH ENEMY's video for the song "Revolution Begins" can be viewed on YouTube. The clip was shot in early September just days before ARCH ENEMY flew to North America to begin the Black Tyranny tour (with MACHINE HEAD, THROWDOWN and SANCTITY). To promote their new album, "Rise of the Tyrant", the band shot two videos in Gothenburg, Sweden with director Patric Ullaeus (IN FLAMES, LACUNA COIL).
