ARCH ENEMY Frontwoman Is Praying For Northern Cold Winds

July 27, 2005

ARCH ENEMY frontwoman Angela Gossow has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"We are in Holmdel, NJ today. 110 Degrees out there. This is purgatory fire. We are actually happy to play the early (slightly less hot) slots, last show we were on at 9:20 am, today it was 9:40 am!

"It is amazing to see a moshpit at this early time in the morning! Strange, but wonderful! Thanks to everybody who was there rocking out with us!

"It's quite terrifying though to watch all these kids getting pulled out of the crowd by noon, burnt by the sun, basically fainting. I hope you are all OK!!!

"We are going to play another Ozzfest show here at the same venue tomorrow. Don't forget to bring your heavy sunscreen and lots (and I mean lots!!!) of water.

"Also bring what ever that you wanna get signed. We are doing signing sessions every day at the FYE and Jägermeister tent. See you in the pit and later at the signings!

"And yes, don't forget to pick up the 'Doomsday Machine'. The North American release date is [Tuesday, July 26]!!!!

"Let's pray for the northern cold winds and some shadow to come…"

ARCH ENEMY's "Doomsday Machine" was co-produced by the band and Rickard Bengtsson at Slaughterhouse Studio in Sweden and was mixed by Andy Sneap at Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, U.K.
