ARCH ENEMY Frontwoman Issues South American Tour Recap

February 15, 2007

ARCH ENEMY vocalist Angela Gossow has posted the following message on her MySpace page:

"Chile, Argentina and Brazil: 12 days in total (60 hours of them just flying — 10 flights altogether, through thunderstorms and one with broken landing gear). Four shows, more than 8,000 fans total attending, one insane signing session with 450 rabid metalheads. Piles of fruit and meat, sinusitis (most of us),the shits (the guys) and extreme lack of sleep (everybody) due to late shows and 7AM lobby calls in the morning (to catch another rocky plane). IT WAS WONDERFUL!

"Our crew worked insanely hard to turn every catastrophe into a GIG. A huge THANK YOU to Mikey, Clem, Recon, Ray, Paul, Caio, Alex, Pappy, Max, Eric, Vanessa, all the support bands and all our fans for helping us, celebrating metal and making this trip a real success! It was a great way to end the two years of touring 'Doomsday Machine'. Now we shall once turn into blind and pale night-creatures, spending all our days in the rehearsal room to come up with the most metallic metal riffs ever!"
