ARCH ENEMY's DANIEL ERLANDSSON Schedules Japanese Drum Clinic

June 25, 2008

ARCH ENEMY's drummer Daniel Erlandsson will take part in his first-ever drum clinic in Japan on August 24 at Shizuoka City Oh-igawa-cho Hall.

Commented Daniel: "Finally it has been confirmed that I will make my debut drum clinic appearance at Summer Drum School in Japan! This is an event held annually and for the 29th time in Japan. Over the years a great deal of international artists have performed here, including Dennis Chambers, Ricky Lawson, Mike Mangini, and Chad Smith, only to name a few. A big thank you goes out to my friends at Pearl Japan and Hiro Tsunoda for arranging my participation in the event!"

Erlandsson is currenly touring with the reactivated British extreme metal legends CARCASS as the replacement for Ken Owen. Owen suffered a near-fatal brain hemorrhage in February 1999, leaving him in a coma for over 10 months. As a result, he is not taking part in CARCASS' current reunion run, but will reportedly be traveling with the band whenever possible and making brief appearances at select shows.
