ARCH ENEMY Schedules Vancouver Signing Session

October 6, 2007

Swedish/German extreme metallers ARCH ENEMY will take part in a signing session at Vancouver, British Ccolumbia, Canada's Scrape Records (located at 17 West Broadway) prior to the store's 10th anniversary bash on October 15 at the Commodore. The whole band will present for the in-store, which is expected to begin around 5:00 p.m

In addition to ARCH ENEMY, Scrape Records' 10th anniversary bash will feature performances by INFERNAL MAJESTY, SINNED and SOULSCAR.

ARCH ENEMY's new album, "Rise of the Tyrant", has registered the following first-week chart positions around the world:

Australia: # 73
Austria: # 50
Canada: # 70
Finland: # 18
France: # 72
Germany: # 28
Japan: # 14
Sweden: # 20
The Netherlands: # 83
USA: # 84

"Rise of the Tyrant" sold around 8,900 in the United States in its first week of release — approximately 25 percent less than the opening number (12,000) of its predecessor, 2005's "Doomsday Machine" (which landed at No. 87).

ARCH ENEMY recently completed work on a video for the track "Revolution Begins" with acclaimed Swedish director Patric Ullaeus (DIMMU BORGIR, IN FLAMES, LACUNA COIL). Look for the clip to make its debut on MTV2's Headbanger's Blog in the coming weeks.
