ARCH ENEMY: South American Tour Pushed Back Three Weeks

December 28, 2006

ARCH ENEMY's previously announced South American tour, which was originally set to take place in early January, has been pushed back three weeks. An official statement from the South American promoters explaining the decision reads as follows:

"We want to inform all of ARCH ENEMY's fans that the South American tour has been postponed three weeks, with the final confirmed dates between January 27 and February 1. This decision was based on two key points — the logistic problems, and the holiday season. All of us — the promoters of the tour — have asked the band and management if they can postpone the tour three weeks. This was possible and kindly accepted from their side so we are happy with this new situation and we all are convinced we can now give the fans the best shows you have seen in a long time. Thank you very much for your understanding."

The rescheduled dates are as follows:

Jan. 27 - Santiago, CHL @ Teatro Teleton
Jan. 29 - Buenos Aires, ARG @ El Teatro De Flores
Feb. 01 - Sao Paulo, BRA @ Via Funchal

ARCH ENEMY is scheduled to enter the studio in March/April to begin recording its follow-up to 2005's "Doomsday Machine", tentatively due before the end of the year.

ARCH ENEMY's double disc DVD set, "Live Apocalypse", was released in August. An e-card is available that features two videos taken from the DVD for the tracks "Ravenous" and "My Apocalypse", along with a new photo gallery. You can view the e-card by clicking here.
