ARCH ENEMY To Take Part In METAL HAMMER 'Meet & Greet'
October 18, 2005Following in the footsteps of ENSIFERUM and KREATOR, ARCH ENEMY are scheduled to appear in the "Meet&Greet Forum" section of the web site of Metal Hammer Germany. Starting today (October 18) fans are invited to post their questions until November 1. The questions will be answered later by the band members themselves. You can post your questions in English or German. Please note that a free forum registration is required to create a topic, and make sure to read the Meet&Greet regulations before posting your question.
As previously reported, ARCH ENEMY have recruited Fredrik Åkesson as a replacement for Chris Amott (guitar) for the continued "Doomsday Machine" touring campaign. Åkesson has lent his awesome guitar talent to such varied artists such as TALISMAN, JOHN NORUM, KRUX, TIAMAT and his own (now defunct) group, SOUTHPAW.
ARCH ENEMY started their European tour in Paris at the Bataclan on October 2. The band's "Doomsday Machine" album entered the official German Top 100 chart at position No. 34. The CD was co-produced by the band and Rickard Bengtsson at Slaughterhouse Studio in Sweden and was mixed by Andy Sneap at Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, U.K.
