ARCH NEMESIS: 'Rehearsing Like Hell'

May 10, 2005

Norwegian metallers ARCH NEMESIS have posted the following message on their official web site:

"The first concert with the new line-up including three guitars proved to be a great success for us, even though the stage was a bit small we still managed to kick some serious ass and this gave us a real boost for future gigs. We also received some great news from our record company; the first pressing of 'Of Mind and Fantasy' is almost sold out so we would like to thank all of you for buying it. We are honoured to be the band of the month on Emeralsword weblog and we send our thanx to the lovely lady who runs that site.

"At the moment we are rehearsing like hell and working hard on securing gigs for the coming months. So far three gigs are confirmed and a couple more will be clear soon but if you are interested in having us at you event or know of places we should contact please give us a hint. We are working on putting together our first videos as we speak, the first one will be a collage of live and fun backstage/party shots and later this summer we will start recording a more complex video. Hopefully these will be shown in the near future and the first one will be added to the download section as soon as possible."

ARCH NEMESIS, who recently announced the addition of guitarist Lars Solbakken to the group's ranks, released their sophomore album, "Of Mind and Fantasy", last month via FaceFront Records. An MP3 of the track "I Dream (Therefore I Am)", taken from the CD, can be downloaded by clicking here (6.1 MB).

Upcoming ARCH NEMESIS shows:

May 20 - Corner Pub – Sandefjord, NOR
Jun. 04 - Summerjam - Sandefjord, NOR
Jun. 18 - Karmøygeddon Festival – Karmøy, NOR
