Unconfirmed reports indicate that SEPULTURA may be parting ways with Roadrunner Records following the disappointing performance of the group's Nation CD and subsequent disagreements between the band and the label over tour support issues. According to sources, SEPULTURA were especially peeved that the above-mentioned disagreements led to the group pulling out of the Tattoo The Planet European festival tour alongside PANTERA and SLAYER, which the band viewed as a much-needed opportunity to introduce the group's current line-up to a wider audience and potentially reverse their current pattern of dwindling record and ticket sales in Europe and the US (a factor that the band reportedly blames squarely on the record company's lack of promotional support). In the meantime, there are still plans for SEPULTURA to shoot a video for the track “One Man Army”, off the aforementioned Nation release, in Brazil during the coming weeks.

The line-up of musicians featured on the effort includes guitarist Akira Kajiyama (with whom Joe co-wrote most of the tracks, just as he did on Holy Man),drummer Kenny Kramme, bassist Eric Czar, and keyboardist Paul Morris (ex-RAINBOW). The sessions are taking place at Unique Recording Studios in New York City, with Turner's longtime friend and sometime writing partner Bob Held co-producing the album.
