DREAM THEATER vocalist James Labrie has posted another update on the release of the forthcoming MULLMUZZLER CD:
...
'The artwork and all is done. We are shooting for an August 7th release. Also, I will work on Magna Carta [Records] to start making available some sound bytes of the songs or a song. We'll see. They're really excited with this disc, and think it will be received very well. I personally think it will kick everyone's ass. The artwork looks amazing. And just to answer a question that has been voiced. Yes, people, the next MULLMUZZLER [CD] will just simply be [titled] MullMuzzler 2. The actual title will be 'James La Brie's MullMuzzler' with the number in close proximity. I will not let any of you down with this next release.... I hope. That's all for now. Cheers, James.'

According to Jacob, 'the main reason we're doing it is of course, as always, because we can...but also the fact that we're doing the HUMANIMAL album [also featuring vocalist Jeff Scott Soto, guitarist Pontus Norgren, and drummer Tomas Broman], & have some spare time to have fun.' As for the HUMANIMAL CD, Marcel stated that 'the album looks to be promising. I'm happy with the music — hard-edged rock, [and] not too similar to TALISMAN, but due to who's performing [on it]… there will be sort of a likeness there… for better, for worse! The drumming is great, thanx to Tomas Broman, & it's going to be fun laying down guitars on top of his tracks.'
