ARCTICFLAME Continuing Work On Sophomore CD
August 23, 2007New Jersey power metallers ARCTICFLAME recently entered the studio to begin recording their second album, "Declaration", tentatively due before the end of the year. "Guitarist Rod Mariani has completed his rhythm tracks for the upcoming CD," the band writes on its web site. "The sessions lasted from last Thursday until Sunday. Rod expressed that he felt very comfortable and had a lot more fun than previous recordings. Guitarist Steve Demalion enters the studio tomorrow to begin his work."
In other news, ARCTICFLAME will be one of headliners at the Tilburg Headbangers festival, to be held on September 27, 2008 in Tilburg, Netherlands. This will be the band's first appearance in Holland. More information will be made available soon.
ARCTICFLAME recently announced the addition of guitarist Steve Demalion to the group's ranks. Steve previously played for the '80s rock band WARRIOR, touring with them for three years throughout Canada and the U.S. Having recently moving to New Jersey from Tacoma, Washington, he answered an Internet ad placed by ARCTICFLAME, who were seeking a replacement for departed guitarist Don Dioro.
