ARMORED SAINT Members Performing In Apple Valley

On Saturday, January 24, three-fifths of ARMORED SAINT live and onstage at Angels Roadhouse in Apple Valley, California. Brothers Gonzo (drums) and Phil (guitar) will debut SUNS OF SANDOVAL, the new project/tribute to their late father, Jesus Sandoval (who passed away on March 8, 2008). Also hitting the stage that night will be DC4, Jeff Duncan's (guitar, vocals) hard rock band also featuring former DIO guitarist Rowan Robertson alongside Jeff's brothers Shawn Duncan (ODIN) on drums and Matt Duncan on bass.

ARMORED SAINT recently began writing material for a new album, to be released later this year.

The band's current lineup is the same as the one on 2000's "Revelation" and 1992's "Symbol of Salvation" LPs:

ARMORED SAINT has written close to 12 songs and is preparing to enter the studio with bassist Joey Vera handling the engineering and producing duties. Working songtitles include "Loose Cannon", "Chilled", "La Raza" and "Black Feet".

SAINT will headline one show in Los Angeles at the Key Club on March 6. Aside from the co-headline tour in Australia in March with DEATH ANGEL and a headlining appearance at the Keep it True festival in Germany in April, the band has no further shows booked at this time.
