ARMY OF ANYONE Invades Music Stores Today

November 14, 2006

Launch Radio Networks reports: ARMY OF ANYONE releases its self-titled debut album today (Tuesday, November 14),marking the arrival of the new band that matches singer Richard Patrick from FILTER with guitarist Dean DeLeo and bassist Robert DeLeo of STONE TEMPLE PILOTS. All three players have had their ups and downs with their previous groups, and Robert DeLeo told Launch that they've all learned from their experiences. "Right now in my life after being in the same band for 12, 13 years, you know, going into this I really have a blueprint in front of me of what to do and what not to do, and so do the people in my band," he said. "We've been through a lot, we've learned, and we wanna be here because we wanna be here. We wanna make music and contribute something valid to music."

ARMY OF ANYONE also features ex-DAVID LEE ROTH drummer Ray Luzier.

The band will do an in-store performance and signing at the Virgin Megastore in Hollywood tomorrow (Wednesday, November 15) at 7 p.m. Also coming up is a November 20 performance on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and a visit to "Last Call with Carson Daly" on November 23.

ARMY OF ANYONE will begin its first tour this Saturday (November 18) in Philadelphia. The group plans to include FILTER and STONE TEMPLE PILOTS material in its set list.
