ARYA, ILL OF DAY, CAVEAT, TRACENINE, THE BLOOD THEORY and CHRIS NING & VII DAYS II PERFECTION have been nominated in the "Best Metal" category at the third annual Toronto Independent Music Awards, which are being held on Thursday, October 4 at The Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Toronto Independent Music Awards (TIMA) recognizes the achievement of independent artists in all genres and attempts to draw new independent artists into the spotlight. TIMA aspires to strengthen local music and Canada's contribution to independent music worldwide. It celebrates the vibrant local music scene flourishing in Toronto and highlights the tremendous talent of the musicians who live and perform in Ontario and worldwide. TIMA creates a positive community space that allows artists an opportunity to meet each other and music industry professionals and brings as much media exposure and as many opportunities as possible.
