According to Hits Daily Double, AS I LAY DYING is on track to sell between 30,000 and 35,000 copies of its new album, "An Ocean Between Us", in the United States in its first week of release. Produced by KILLSWITCH ENGAGE guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz (EVERY TIME I DIE, ALL THAT REMAINS),the CD contains a dozen tracks, including "Separation" and the first single, "Nothing Left".

The bleak, futuristic video for "Nothing Left" was shot in Van Nuys, California at Sound City Studios with Brian Thompson (KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, ANGELS & AIRWAVES) lending his directorial talents. The story, which was conceived by the band and refined as a collaboration between the band and Thompson, follows a female character through a series of events which takes place within a decaying, future landscape.

Speaking about the recent filming experience, guitarist Nick Hipa said, "The concept of our new video is conceptually akin to books like 'The Scarlet Letter', while visually it is influenced by the idea of post- apocalyptic dystopian societies as seen in films like 'Blade Runner' and '1984'. There are dudes with machine guns and gas masks, so already its one of my favorite videos we've ever done."
