ASSASSINS Signs With EONE MUSIC/GOOD FIGHT MUSIC

January 27, 2014

Detroit metalcore act ASSASSINS has signed a North American record deal with eOne Music/Good Fight Music. The band's new album, "War Of Aggression", will be released on March 18.

Comments ASSASSINS frontman Todd Jansen: "It is truly a humbling experience to have all of our hard work recognized, especially by those who I respect and have looked up to for a significant portion of my life.

"This news is just the beginning.

"The real work starts now.

"Working with Good Fight and eOne gives ASSASSINS the platform it needs to reach new heights and ambitions. We will make them proud of the trust they've decided to put into us.

"I am very much looking forward to seeing and meeting all of our fans on tour, because without them none of this would be possible.

"We are here are because of those who believe in us. Myself and the rest of the band do not take that for granted.

"I hope everyone is as stoked about this news, and our debut full-length as much as we are.

"I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us!"

ASSASSINS will head out on the road this winter supporting CARNIFEX. Before that, the band will play a small batch of shows with BEYOND THE SHORE on the bill.

Formed in 2010, ASSASSINS uses its music to wake its audience up to the world they live in and find the balance between questioning authority and establishing self-identity by any means necessary. They've made their name known by touring the U.S. and sharing their message wherever it will be heard. "War Of Aggression" is the next step in the band's budding career, a release that is sure to be a staple in the band's growing catalog.
