ASTRAL DOORS 'Postpones' Tour

September 20, 2011

Swedish melodic metallers ASTRAL DOORS have been forced to cancel their previously announced "The Desert Forces Of Rock Tour 2011". The band states, "The reason why the tour is postponed is: Too many clubs cancelled the gigs. This situation really sucks! But everyone must realize that it's impossible to go out on a tour with only 'off days'. We have been rehearsing in months for this and we're really sad now. More info as soon as we know anything. Hopefully this tour will take place sometime around late winter/early spring time 2012."

ASTRAL DOORS's new album, "Jerusalem", will be released on October 21 via Metalville. The CD, which will be made available as a jewelcase, digipack and on vinyl, was mixed by Daniel Bergstrand, who has previously worked with BEHEMOTH, MESHUGGAH, DIMMU BORGIR, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD and SOILWORK, among others. The cover art was designed by Mattias Eriksson and can be seen below.

Commented the band: "Daniel Bergstrand and Rickard Sporrong made an incredible mix and we just can't wait to share this album with the world."
