December 14, 2012

Swedish metallers ASTRAL DOORS have tapped SABATON drummer Robban Bäck for their appearance at Xmas Metal Fest, set to take place December 14-15 in Valencia, Spain.

Commented ASTRAL DOORS: "Due to illness in his family, drummer Johan Lindstedt had to say no to this Spain Xmas-fest gig. We support Johan's decision 100%! This gig is for you, man!!! We also wanna thank the drum master, SABATON's Robban Bäck, for standing in for Johan on this gig. Thanks, mate!"

ASTRAL DOORS's latest album, "Jerusalem", was released in October 2011 via Metalville. The CD, which was made available as a jewelcase, digipack and on vinyl, was mixed by Daniel Bergstrand, who has previously worked with BEHEMOTH, MESHUGGAH, DIMMU BORGIR, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD and SOILWORK, among others. The cover art was designed by Mattias Eriksson.
