ASTRAL DOORS To Release 'Notes From The Shadows' In August

June 6, 2014

Swedish metallers ASTRAL DOORS will release their seventh album, "Notes From The Shadows", on August 29 via Metalville. The follow-up to 2011's "Jerusalem" contains 11 tracks that were mixed and mastered at the Black Lounge Studio in Grangärde by Jonas Kjellgren.

According to a press release, "Notes From The Shadows" "takes us to the band's darker side with a closer look into the black bible . A pure evil heavy metal album which brings back the occult lyrics to classic heavy metal."

A teaser for "Notes From The Shadows" is available below.

"Jerusalem" was released in October 2011 via Metalville. The CD, which was made available as a jewelcase, digipack and on vinyl, was mixed by Daniel Bergstrand, who has previously worked with BEHEMOTH, MESHUGGAH, DIMMU BORGIR, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD and SOILWORK, among others. The cover art was designed by Mattias Eriksson.
