ATLANTEAN KODEX To Release 'The White Goddess' In October

German underground metal titans ATLANTEAN KODEX will release their long-awaited second album, "The White Goddess - A Grammar Of Poetic Myth", on October 4 on CD and vinyl through 20 Buck Spin Records (USA) and Cruz del Sur Music/Ván Records (rest of the world). The follow-up to 2010's "The Golden Bough" is described the band's drummer, Weiß, as "a triumph of heaviness and melancholy, a monument to the spirit of underground metal and the mythology of old Europe. Our sound has grown darker and heavier, like the world has grown darker and heavier in the past few years. At the same time, our '70s roots and our love for BATHORY and old MANOWAR are still there. Imagine Quorthon raping URIAH HEEP while 'Into Glory Ride' is blasting from an old tape deck."
