October 7, 2010

Eternal Descent comic book pre-sales for issue #5 are now available. Issue #5 features guitarists Dan Jacobs and Travis Miguel of popular metal band ATREYU. In the storyline inspired by the ATREYU song "Black Days Begin" from the album "Congregation of the Damned", the battle of Wayne Static from the previous issue has left the city in smoldering ruins and Lyra Constance burning with a new determination: find Loki and bring his reign of madness to an end once and for all. But in Loki's lair, nothing is ever as it seems. What looks like a way in could be a perilous trap lying in wait.

Llexi Leon, creator of the multimedia concept ETERNAL DESCENT, recruits ESP artists for cameo appearances in the Eternal Descent comic which is inspired by a host of iconic metal musicians. The initial launch issue was released on March 31, 2010 with subsequent issues released every 4-6 weeks, spotlighting GOD FORBID guitarist Doc Coyle in issue 2, Gus G. of FIREWIND and OZZY OSBOURNE in issue 3, and Wayne Static of STATIC-X in issue 4. Other bands including SHADOWS FALL and SOULFLY are slated for upcoming cameo appearances in subsequent issues.
