ATTACKER Demoing Material For Next Album

December 5, 2009

New Jersey metallers ATTACKER will enter the studio on Sunday, December 6 to begin demoing new material in preparation for the recording of their as-yet-untitled fifth CD. "We will be working out all the kinks so that we can deliver an album that we can be proud of and that ATTACKER fans will embrace," the band says in a statement.

ATTACKER is currently searching for a classic metal vocalist with multi-octave range, stage and studio experience. All interested parties can contact the band at [email protected].

Says the group: "Send vocal samples and photos to the above address for consideration or point us to your web site or MySpace."

ATTACKER last year announced a short-lived collaboration with vocalist Walter Figueroa (formerly of SEVERED HAND),who replaced Bob Mitchell.

Figueroa was the singer for the 1980s metal cover band SMELL THE GLOVE (which featured SEVEN WITCHES and current JOEY BELLADONNA guitarist Jack Frost). He was also involved with the hard rock group IMPRECARI and progressive rock/metal act PARADOX (New Jersey).

"Standing the Test of Time", a "best-of" release from ATTACKER, came out in November 2007 via Chavis Records.
