AUDIOSLAVE: Hour-Long CHRIS CORNELL Acoustic Performance To Air Friday

September 13, 2006

AUDIOSLAVE frontman Chris Cornell visited Sweden last Thursday (Sept. 7) as part of a promotional tour for the band's third album, "Revelations", and played an exclusive acoustic set at O-Baren in Stockholm. What was supposed to be an intimate short appearance performing a couple of songs turned out to be an hour-long set, and included unplugged versions of songs from AUDIOSLAVE, SOUNDGARDEN, TEMPLE OF THE DOG and even covers of BOB MARLEY, MICHAEL JACKSON and LED ZEPPELIN, among others.

Local radio station Bandit Rock 106-3 will broadcast the concert this Friday (Sept. 15) at 3:00 p.m. (CET) and also this Sunday (Sept. 17) at 8:00 p.m. (CET). The program can be heard live via the station's web site, www.bandit1063.com (click the link "LYSSNA LIVE"),where a podcast containing an interview with Chris Cornell will be available as well.
