AUDIOSLAVE Named XBOX Artist Of The Month

August 4, 2006

IGN Music reports that August is AUDIOSLAVE month — at least on Xbox Live, where the band has been chosen "Artist of the Month."

Throughout the month of August fans will be able to download AUDIOSLAVE's "Original Fire" music video as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the band both at work and at play. Additionally, gamers can sign up for a chance to actually go head-to-head with members of the band in a Madden NFL 07 online challenge. The Madden/AUDIOSLAVE connection is due to the fact that the title track to their new album, "Revelations", is featured in the game.

All those who are interested in gaming against AUDIOSLAVE should log onto www.audioslavemusic.com/xboxgamewithfame/ and need to sign up by August 31, 2006.
