AUDIOSLAVE Singer CORNELL Glad Feud With Ex-Wife Is Over

World Entertainment News Network reports that AUDIOSLAVE singer Chris Cornell is celebrating after ending a lengthy feud with his ex-wife over intellectual property.

Susan Silver was refusing to hand over earnings and personal effects, claiming she had intellectual rights to the rock star's fame and fortune. After two years of sparring, Cornell is now hoping the fight with his ex is over — and he'll be able to enjoy life with his second wife Vicky Karayiannis. He says, "It's never resolved when it comes to intellectual property and the kind of things that Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic have to fight Courtney Love about, but, other than that, it's over with. It's only been in the last few months that Vicky and I have experienced life without lawyers calling, without getting crushing emails with bad news."

AUDIOSLAVE will release its third album, "Revelations", on September 5, but the band isn't expected to tour until 2007.

Cornell recently announced that he plans to record his second solo album at the end of this summer, with a release scheduled for next year. In addition, Cornell has also recorded "You Know My Name" for the upcoming James Bond movie "Casino Royale", as well as a song for the independent film "Bug".
