AUDIOSLAVE: Video Of KROQ WEENIE ROAST Performance Available For Download

AUDIOSLAVE fan site Audioslaved.com has uploaded video footage of the band's performance at KROQ's annual Weenie Roast on May 21 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, California. The file is available in Real Media and Windows Media formats and can be downloaded at this location.

AUDIOSLAVE's sophomore album, "Out of Exile", was released Tuesday (May 24). The title refers partly to the time the group spent off the road, working on the follow-up to its double-platinum self-titled debut. But frontman Chris Cornell told Launch Radio Networks that "Out of Exile" also reflects how the four musicians feel about being in AUDIOSLAVE as compared to their previous bands, SOUNDGARDEN and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE. "I feel like it lends itself to all of us as individuals, or collectively as a band," he said. "I think that we have all been through really difficult periods in our previous bands, as everyone is at growing up, becoming an older person and having to continue. Just the whole thing is huge freedom."

"Out of Exile" was produced by Rick Rubin, who also helmed "Audioslave".

AUDIOSLAVE begin a European tour Sunday (May 29) at the Super Bock Super Rock Festival in Lisbon, Portugal.
