Australian AC/DC Fan Drives 1,600 Kilometers To Buy Concert Tickets

May 26, 2009

According to PerthNow, an AC/DC drove for 20 hours (a distance of 1600 kilometers) to Perth, Australia this week to line up for tickets to see his idols at Subiaco Oval.

Not trusting the Internet or phone sales, Daniel Cook made sure he was one of the first in line camping overnight in his swag at Challenge Stadium in Mt Claremont on the coldest night of the year: 3.3 Celsius.

When the booth opened at 9:00 a.m., he was third in line and bought tickets for himself and 15 mates.

"I love all the AC/DC songs and I am going to go to Queensland to see the Brisbane concert,'' he told PerthNow photographer Richard Polden.
