Australian Rock Band THE SCREAMING JETS Schedules First U.S. Performance In 10 Years

THE SCREAMING JETS, Australia's legendary, multi-platinum rock band, will play its first live show in the U.S. in over a decade on Tuesday, February 3 at Key Club in Hollywood, California. This private, red-carpet event will be an epic evening not to be missed. The night will also include many surprise guests as well as performances by STATE TO STATE, RICKY WARWICK, THE BANGKOK FIVE and the all-star band HAPPENIN' HARRY & THE HAPTONES featuring members of GUNS N' ROSES, TRAIN, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE and THE OFFSPRING. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Red carpet is from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00p.m. THE SCREAMING JETS start at 9:30 p.m. This is a FREE, invite-only show.

With a career spanning 20 years, ten albums, and international tours with bands such as KISS, PEARL JAM, ALICE IN CHAINS, INXS, SOUNDGARDEN and VELVET REVOLVER, you can be sure THE SCREAMING JETS will bring an amazing live show to the Sunset Strip. Categorized with a handful of internationally known bands that call Australia home like AC/DC and INXS, THE SCREAMING JETS have had great success in the U.S. market in the past and are excited about their long-awaited return.

"We can't wait to get out there and hopefully inspire people to come and see us, get people talking and hopefully get an album deal, and go the whole hog," says singer Dave Gleeson. "With the support of our new indie label, StockXChange Music, U.S. producer/engineer Stevie Salas (Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart, and "American Idol"'s David Cook, Chris Daughtry, Jordin Sparks) and percussionist Matt Sorum (THE CULT, GUNS N' ROSES, VELVET REVOLVER) who we worked with on our latest album, we are hoping the band gets the recognition we think we deserve. If all goes well with our U.S. return, we hope to tour there this summer."
