AVANTASIA: Footage From Italy's ROCKIN' FIELD FESTIVAL Available

Italian news blog Musica Metal has posted video footage (see below) of AVANTASIA, the project led by EDGUY frontman Tobias Sammet, performing on July 26, 2008 at the Rockin' Field Festival in Milan, Italy.

AVANTASIA filmed its July 10 performance at the Masters of Rock festival in Vizovice, Czech Republic for a forthcoming DVD.

The new album from AVANTASIA, "The Scarecrow", was "officially one of the 20 best-selling albums in whole Europe during the fourth week of January," according to a press release.

"The Scarecrow" was released on January 25 as a standard CD as well as rare picture (double) vinyl.
