AVATAR: Video Footage From Recording Studio Available

Swedish band AVATAR has posted several video updates from the studio where they are currently recording their second album, due in October through Gain Records. The latest update features samples from the new CD and can be viewed on the group's YouTube channel.

AVATAR started recording the follow-up to 2006's "Thoughts of No Tomorrow" almost a week ago. The CD will be loaded with bonus material, including an entire live concert, footage from the band's tour with IN FLAMES earlier this year and a new music video.

AVATAR toured Europe with EVERGREY in October-November 2006 and Scandinavia with IN FLAMES in March 2007. They have also played shows with such bands as ARCH ENEMY, STONE SOUR, DISMEMBER, IMPALED NAZARENE, and MARDUK.

The average age of AVATAR members is only 19, and the group is being hailed by the media and fans as the band that will carry the world-famous Gothenburg sound "into the future with new energy!"
