March 2, 2006

AVIAN, the new band featuring Lance King (BALANCE OF POWER, PYRAMAZE),Yan Leviathan and Jonah Weingarten (BLOOD PROMISE, PYRAMAZE),will make their live debut opening for GAMMA RAY on Friday, May 12, 2006 at the Rock Nightclub in Maplewood, Minnesota.

"All of us in AVIAN are extremely excited about doing this show with GAMMA RAY; it is an honor to share the stage with these metal giants," said Leviathan. "We would like to thank Nathan and everyone involved that made this show a possibility; it will truly be a night to remember!"

AVIAN has received the praise and adoration of fans and critics with their debut album, "From the Depths of Time".

Lance King (vocalist) is a well-respected and seasoned vocalist who has received critical acclaim and the support of legions of fans from his work in such bands as BALANCE OF POWER, GEMINI and PYRAMAZE. PYRAMAZE recently found the high ground when they were chosen as the opening band for ProgPower — a highly acclaimed metal festival in Atlanta currently in its seventh year.

Yan Leviathan assembled AVIAN after being inspired by GAMMA RAY's performance at ProgPower III. He is overjoyed at the opportunity to now be opening for them at their only mid-country stop on the closing night of their first U.S. tour.

Jonah Weingarten is an accomplished keyboard player, currently giving amazing performances in BLOOD PROMISE and PYRAMAZE.

David Ellefson (former bassist of MEGADETH) provides amazing work on the album but will be unable to be a part of the band's debut due to his current touring with his new band, F5.
