AVIAN To Release New EP In The Fall

March 22, 2010

AVIAN, the melodic metal band featuring singer Lance King (BALANCE OF POWER, PYRAMAZE) and guitarist Yan Leviathan, is currently in pre-production for its third album, to be released in early 2011. This fall, the group will release a five-song EP featuring "a couple of brand new songs and a couple acoustic songs."

The recording lineup for the EP and the next album will be as follows:

Lance King - Vocals
Yan Leviathan - Guitar
Steve Stine - Guitar
Brian Hollenbeck - Bass, Vocals
Jerry Babcock - Drums

AVIAN will debut a couple of new songs at its next show on Wednesday, June 23 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

AVIAN's sophomore album, "Ashes and Madness", was released in Europe in February 2009 via Germany's Silverwolf Productions.

A video featuring the album's "The Lost and Forsaken" single, set against some of the artwork that is included in the booklet that was created by Mattias Norén, can be viewed below.

Yan Leviathan assembled AVIAN after being inspired by GAMMA RAY's performance at the ProgPower USA III festival.
