BABOON RISING Sign With STATUE RECORDS

Virginia-based metal band BABOON RISING have inked a deal with Statue Records. The group's latest album, "Megland", is available through the label at this location.

BABOON RISING formed in 1987 as a satirical underground rock and metal band and has since grown into a speed metal band with a touch of death metal on their most recent releases.

The band gained notoriety when their version of the theme to the television show "Sledge Hammer" appeared on the first-season DVD, released in July.
