BALTIMOORE Finishes Recording New Album

September 18, 2006

Swedish melodic hard rockers BALTIMOORE have finished recording their tenth album, to be titled "X", which is due for release on October 29. The album will be issued via BLP Music, the label set up by BALTIMOORE vocalist/band leader Björn Lodin, which saw the band's latest offering, "Kaleidoscope", released in April 2006.

"X" marks the return to the band of original lead guitarist Thomas Larsson (GLENN HUGHES) who has previously performed on four BALTIMOORE albums since the bands formation in the late 1980s. "All you guitar nerds out there (myself included) are in for a treat," Lodin said regarding Larsson's return to the group.

BALTIMOORE will commence a European tour on October 29 at the Hard Rock Café in Stockholm, Sweden to promote the new release with the emphasis on bringing the music back the people with a very special event tied in with the tour (more information on this coming soon). On the pending tour, Lodin says: "We're finally getting our arses in to gear and putting a show together for the road. It's been a long wait for us and we are very excited about playing live with the new material."
