BARONESS Completes Work On New Album
July 9, 2009Savannah, Georgia's BARONESS has completed work on its second full-length album for an October release via Relapse Records. The follow-up to 2007's critically acclaimed "The Red Album" was recorded in Dallas, Texas with producer/engineer John Congleton (EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY, THE POLYPHONIC SPREE, BLACK MOUNTAIN) and will see an October release.
BARONESS kicks off a four-week North American tour today, July 9, alongside Maryland's CLUTCH. The trek will include a free show in Chicago, Illinois this weekend as part of the annual Kuma's Corner Block Party.
"The Red Album" came out September 4, 2007. The effort was recorded at the Jam Room in Columbia, South Carolina and produced by KYLESA's Phillip Cope.
