Metal Mark of SkullsNBones.com conducted an interview with BARONESS before the band's December 11, 2009 concert in Atlanta, Georgia with PIG DESTROYER. Watch the chat below.

BARONESS' second full-length album, "Blue Record", sold around 4,700 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 117 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD landed at No. 1 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200. Released on October 13 via Relapse Records, the follow-up to 2007's critically acclaimed "The Red Album" was recorded in Dallas, Texas with producer/engineer John Congleton (EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY, THE POLYPHONIC SPREE, BLACK MOUNTAIN).
