Bassist DEREK BOYER Quits DECREPIT BIRTH, Joins SUFFOCATION

Bassist Derek Boyer has left Santa Cruz, California-based death metallers DECREPIT BIRTH to join SUFFOCATION as their new full-time bassist. "We wish [Derek] the best of luck while playing in one of the best extreme bands of all time," DECREPIT BIRTH write on their web site. "Derek remains a close friend of ours, and we thank him for all of his efforts and contributions while he was part of our band.

"Currently we are working with a new bass player and we have also added a second guitarist to the line up. Risha Eryavec, who was part of DECREPIT BIRTH in the mid to late 90's, has taken bass duties. Mike Turner will be adding his skills as our second guitar player."
