BEATALLICA: More Live Shows Announced

June 22, 2004

BEATALLICA, the Midwestern band which "coversBEATLES songs in the style of METALLICA, infusing the lyrics and arrangements of Fab Four standards with wonderfully unsubtle references to METALLICA's songs and a spot-on imitation of James Hetfield's distinctive vocals" (Ice magazine),have lined up the following dates during July/August:

Jul. 18 - Chicago, IL @ Rock Around the Block
Jul. 23 - Chicago, IL @ Cubby Bear Wrigleyville
Aug. 06 - Chicago, IL @ Cubby Bear Wrigleyville
Aug. 28 - Cudahy, WI @ Vnuk's

When METALLICA frontman James Hetfield was recently asked by Kerrang! magazine if he's ever heard BEATALLICA, he replied, "Yeah. I heard that. That was amazing. Someone put a lot of thought and talent into that man!" Asked if he was being sarcastic, he said, "No, not at all. I heard it on-line. It was about a year ago, or more. It was pretty amazing. It was pretty well thought out so I'm glad there's people like that in the world to do that and it's very entertaining for us, for sure!"
