October 11, 2005According to LiveDaily.com, Milwaukee-based BEATALLICA, a satirical mashup act whose hilarious schtick marries the songwriting prowess of the BEATLES to the deep-throated rock growl of METALLICA, have lined up the following U.S. dates during November/December:
Nov. 28 - Columbus, OH - Little Brothers
Nov. 29 - Washington, DC - Black Cat
Dec. 01 - Baltimore, MD – Fletchers
Dec. 02 - Philadelphia, PA – Khyber
Dec. 04 - New York, NY - Knitting Factory
Dec. 05 - Boston, MA - Middle East
Dec. 07 - Fort Wayne, IN - Pierre's
Dec. 08 - Detroit, MI – Smalls
Dec. 10 - Chicago, IL - Empty Bottle
BEATALLICA recently received help from METALLICA drummer Lars Ulrich in their dispute with the Sony Corporation over BEATALLICA's "unlawful use" of the group's compositions "without authorization or license." The case has since been resolved, with BEATALLICA being allowed once again to operate their web site, Beatallica.org, and continue performing their patented blend of BEATLES tunes in a METALLICA style.
