BEHEMOTH Featured On This Weekend's 'Rebel Access' TV

January 19, 2008

Polish extreme metallers BEHEMOTH will be the featured band on this Sunday's (January 20) "Rebel Access" TV, which airs at 10:00 p.m. on Channel 19 all over the Chicagoland area. The entire episode is dedicated to BEHEMOTH, featuring an exclusive interview with Adam "Nergal" Darski, along with performance footage. During the interview, Nergal explains the concept behind BEHEMOTH, stating that the band is all about "exploring the dark side of human nature. My life has been always been rebelling of something, being in this band is not about conforming. It's about this [putting up both middle fingers] to certain people and organizations 'cause we are an extreme band. If this tour [2007 Radio Rebellion] is successful, this is our success, and if it is a failure, it is our failure." Nergal added, "A new chapter and possibilities await for us after 16 years. It is cool to redefine ourselves, and I am totally looking forward to it."

"Rebel Access" features a band one week and plays the hardest "in-your-face" music videos in Chicago the next week.

BEHEMOTH recently inked new deals with Nuclear Blast Records (Europe) and Metal Blade Records (USA).

BEHEMOTH filmed a video for the track "Prometherion" this past summer. Shot by acclaimed director Soren (ALL THAT REMAINS, UNEARTH),the clip is a frenetic, savage performance based video that perfectly showcases the band's unrelenting energy and uncompromising vision. The 2007 "Radio Rebellion" tour afforded BEHEMOTH the opportunity to perform a longer set in more intimate settings, ultimately providing fans with "the definitive BEHEMOTH experience". This was also a chance for the band to perform an array of songs from their highly acclaimed new offering, "The Apostasy", which debuted at #149 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
