BEHLER, HIRAX Perform At Brazil's 'Metal Attack II' Festival

BEHLER the Canadian band featuring the former EXCITER drummer/vocalist Dan Beehler, former EXCITER bassist Allan Johnson and guitarists Sean Brophy and Scott Walsh and Californian thrash metal veterans HIRAX performed at the Metal Attack II festival in So Paulo, Brazil on June 19, 2011.

BEHLER's sound is described in a press release as "a journey from speed to doom, heavily saluting their mentors like JUDAS PRIEST, IRON MAIDEN and MOTRHEAD." "All we want to do is bring it back as a tribute to our metal heroes," the band said.

On June 29, 2010 (one day earlier internationally),Season of Mist released a new compilation album from HIRAX, "Noise Chaos War". Consisting of three thrashing EPs remastered, remixed and available on CD for the first time this release also includes a video for "Bombs of Death", filmed live in Japan in 2009.

Originally signed to Metal Blade in 1985, HIRAX has been at the forefront of the thrash movement for over 25 years. Their music has stood the test of time and their legions of fans continue to grow.
