Belgian Death Metallers FLESHMOULD Expand Lineup
August 19, 2004After three years of operating as a four-piece, Belgian death metal outfit FLESHMOULD have decided to add a "real" frontman to the band. The new vocalist is longtime friend Sven Houfflijn (ex-ANESTHESY, IMPEDIGON). ReinieR will step back and focus on his guitar work, backing up on the main vocalist when necessary. Dirk will quit his vocal activities completely, but will, of course, keep playing guitar. The move is said to be "a huge improvement for the band and it will expand the possibilies."
FLESHMOULD's full-length debut, "Incompatible Fragments", was released last year through the SCRecords label. It was recorded at ShumCot SoundLab in Aartrijke, Belgium between December 2002 and January 2003 and was produced, engineered and mixed by ReinieR. Mastering duties were handled by Rudy De Keyser at DK Studio in Destelbergen, Belgium. Audio samples from the CD are available at this location.
