BELIEVER Interviewed On 105.7 THE X ROCKS' 'Loud!' Radio Show; Audio Available

April 9, 2009

Drummer Joey Daub, keyboardist/programmer Jeff King and guitarist/vocalist Kurt Bachman of reactivated late '80s/early '90s technical-thrash metallers BELIEVER were the featured guests on this past Saturday's (April 4) edition of the "Loud!" show on the 105.7 The X Rocks radio station. The entire interview is now available for download in four parts at this location.

BELIEVER's fourth album, "Gabriel", was released last month through KILLSWITCH ENGAGE frontman Howard Jones's new imprint label Cesspool Records via Metal Blade. The CD features guest appearances by Jones, Joe Rico (SACRIFICE),CKY/WORLD UNDER BLOOD guitarist/vocalist Deron Miller and Rocky Gray (EVANESCENCE, SOUL EMBRACED, LIVING SACRIFICE).

Video footage of Howard Jones laying down guest vocals on the track "The Brave" can be viewed below.

Regarding the musical direction of the album, Kurt Bachman recently told Decibel magazine, "We think that fans will hear some of each record but the writing is a bit different. It's still BELIEVER but we wanted to offer something new as we have in the past. Some people would like us to put out another 'Sanity Obscure' or 'Dimensions' but we didn't want to rehash the past. Those close to us have said that the new material sounds like a natural progression from 'Dimensions'. We wanted to have fun with this and get back to our emotional metal roots. Getting together to write and record was exciting. It's when the creativity and insanity was let loose."
