BELPHEGOR To Tour Europe With ARKHON INFAUSTUS, IN AETERNUM

December 31, 2004

Austrian death/black metal act BELPHEGOR will be teaming up with ARKHON INFAUSTUS (France) and IN AETERNUM (Sweden) for a two-and-a-half week European tour beginning on March 31, 2005. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.

In other news, BELPHEGOR recently parted ways with drummer Torturer and replaced him with Nefastus from Germany, who has already toured with the group on the recently completed X-Mass Festivals trek. "Nefastus playes a very heavy, aggressive drum set and is an absolute professional and he loves it to play live and to be on tour, exactly what we were looking for," the band write on their web site. "Even humanly he fits to us very well, and he is insane."

BELPHEGOR's fifth full-length album, "The Goatreich - Fleshcult", is scheduled for release on February 28, 2005 via Napalm Records.

The follow-up to last year's "Lucifer Incestus", "The Goatreich - Fleshcult" was recorded at Mastersound Studio in Fellbach, Germany and will be available in the following formats: the regular CD, LP (limited to 1,000 copies, and a limited-edition digipack version (5,000 copies) featuring the instrumental track "Heresy of Fire" as a bonus. Cover artwork duties will be handled by Austrian artist Ralph Manfreda, a "specialist for morbid blasphemy/ human-machine sculptures," according to a posting on the group's web site. "His artworks radiate coldness, are extreme and sinister."
