BENEATH THE MASSACRE Frontman Checks In From Europe

Montreal's BENEATH THE MASSACRE is currently on the road in Europe for the first time as part of a tour with MISERY INDEX, DESPISED ICON and ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY.

Commented frontman Elliot Desgagnes: "The tour is nothing short of amazing! The crowd reactions are overcoming our expectations. Touring with our bros in DESPISED ICON and MISERY INDEX is only making it even better. All the shows have so far been crazy. We really enjoy the European crowd; it almost feels like we're at home."

Upon completion of the current European trek, BENEATH THE MASSACRE will embark on a U.S. headlining tour, featuring support from SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY and BORN OF OSIRIS.

BENEATH THE MASSACRE's latest full-length CD, "Mechanics of Dysfunction", was released in February 2007 and has been supported by touring in North America alongside ION DISSONANCE, NECROPHAGIST, CATTLE DECAPITATION, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD and AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK.

The follow-up to the 2005 EP "Evidence of Inequity", "Mechanics of Dysfunction" was produced by Yannick St-Ammand (DESPISED ICON, NEURAXIS),mixed by Pierre RĂ©millard (CRYPTOPSY, KRISIUN) and mastered by Alan Douches (THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, SHADOWS FALL).
