BETWEEN THE SCREAMS Signs With BASICK RECORDS

July 1, 2009

Basick Records has announced the signing of the U.K. emotive, ambient, progressive metal outfit BETWEEN THE SCREAMS. The band's debut album, "Our Last Days On Earth", will be released on October 5. The CD was recorded at Mighty Atom studios in Wales with Joe Gibb (BRIGADE, 3 COLOURS RED, FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND, TAINT) at the helm.

BETWEEN THE SCREAMS was first brought to the attention of Basick back in the spring 2008 after the label received a copy of the band's critically acclaimed EP, "Embryo".

The group's unique sound has attracted attention from many quarters, having recently won them a spot on the Metal Hammer CD covermount and a "Band Of The Week" spot on the BBC Radio 1 "Rock Show".

Commented BETWEEN THE SCREAMS: "BETWEEN THE SCREAMS are stoked to be signing with Basick Records as they are at the absolute forefront of British underground music right now, and we are about to blow that shit wide open!"

BETWEEN THE SCREAMS is:

Adam Ralph: Vocals
Daniel Waterhouse: Guitar
Terry Blake: Bass
