BIG NOIZE Explains South American Tour Cancellation

December 4, 2008

BIG NOIZE, the band featuring vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (DEEP PURPLE, RAINBOW, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN),bassist Phil Soussan (OZZY OSBOURNE),guitarist Carlos Cavazo (QUIET RIOT) and drummer Vinny Appice (HEAVEN AND HELL, DIO, BLACK SABBATH),has issued the following statement regarding the cancellation of its South American tour:

"Although there were several promoters involved, all of them were in breach of contract by failing to make arrangements and provide the funding as agreed, despite repeated requests from band management and agent. BIG NOIZE waited to cancel until 'the last minute' in good faith that flight/hotel arrangements and funding would show up. As of today, neither flight/hotel arrangements or funding has been sent to band management nor their agent. The members of BIG NOIZE were looking forward to playing to fans on this tour. The band, management and booking agent are all sad and disappointed that this has happened but they are looking forward to an opportunity in the future to reschedule a tour to South America with more reputable promoters. Anyone who purchased tickets should address their refund issues and concerns directly to the promoters and corresponding venues."

As previousy reported, BIG NOIZEhas been confirmed for the Z Rock 2009 festival, set to take place May 29-30, 2009 at JB's in Dudley, England.

BIG NOIZE recently completed a two-week tour of Iraq and Kuwait (see video footage below). One of the highlights of BIG NOIZE's September 11 show in Iraq was the premier of the new song "Battlefields", inspired by the brave men and women who defend our freedom all over the globe.
