BILLY ANDERSON To Work On New LYDIA LASKA 7"

Norwegian punk rockers LYDIA LASKA have announced that Billy Anderson, who has previously worked with NEUROSIS, CATHEDRAL, FANTOMAS, SWANS, among others, will be mix and master their forthcoming seven-inch single, "Could I Have A Go On Your Girl, Please?" Due for release in November of this year, the track will include guest appearances by Emil Nikolaisen of SERENA-MANEESH on guitar, and Sissy Wish on backing vocals, whilst the B side (or AA-side, as the band likes to call it) will be a completely new version of "Mandy", previously released on LYDIA LASKA's "We're Nothing Compared To Ourselves" EP, and will feature guitars by Jan Devik (PRUDENCE, JUNIPHER GREENE, FOLQUE etc.). Nikolaisen will perform mixing duties on the album that will follow the release of the single, and is scheduled for a February 2009 release. The band are also shooting a video for the "Could I Have A Go On Your Girl, Please?" track, and it will again be directed by LYDIA LASKA and Thomas Lunde of Trøbbel Film, who also directed the "Love and Penetration" video that earned LYDIA LASKA a nomination for Best Short Film from NRK's P3TV film program. The release of the video is planned to coincide with that of the single.
